From The Manager

Mel Nunn

I met with Janet Wojciechowski and Gary Bell on Wednesday, March 29, 2000, to schedule maintenance of the units north of Island Drive.  The contractor needs three days for each phase III unit and four days for the other units.  These repairs include the following:

  1. Paint all rails and spindles as required.
  2. Power wash decks and finish with a protective coating.
  3. Correct spindle spacing and repair areas of deck as needed.
  4. Seal and paint chimney spark arrestors.
  5. Seal all masonry for water protection.
  6. Paint and apply protective sealant to front door and frame.
  7. Prime and paint all walkway light posts and boxes.
  8. Repair and/or apply protective coatings to roofs as required.
  9. Cut chimney rock from roof and apply roofing material as required.
  10. Repair sunken roof lighting as required.
  11. Gutters and down spouts installed as required over Phase III decks.
  12. Repair obvious shake roof areas as required.

It is our intent to have the area North of Island completed by the May 18, 2000.  This includes all trees trimmed to approximately 10 feet in height, have the golf course area visible to the units, have the fence completely repaired, the trash can enclosures repaired, the lawn cleared of pine cones and needles, irrigation system adjusted and some ladder fuels reduction completed between our entrance and Abbott.

The Unit maintenance schedule is as follows:

DatesUnits
Apr 3 - 553 and 54
Apr 6 - 861 and 62
Apr 10 - 1259 and 60
Apr 13 - 1557 and 58

Apr 20 - 2265 and 66

I appreciate the cooperation of Janet and Gary of the Lodge.  This schedule also will be coordinated with the other rental agents.  We will start coordinating the schedule for all units South of Island with the realty agents around mid April.  We hope to complete all the units no later the end of July, with the caveat that weather plays an important factor in this ambitious schedule.  I think that around mid May the Wildflower II Owners, Sunriver lodge guests, realtors, golfers, employees and contractors will recognize the improvements in our Community.
