The annual meeting this year was held in the new Sunriver Library, located in the Business Park. Minutes of this meeting appear at right.
What a wonderful setting. The room was large and airy, and there were complete facilities for projection of presentations.
The board held an executive session before the meeting, during which the following motions were passed:
- Ed Vignoul made a motion to continue offering chimney cleans to the owners to be paid by the Association. This service will be performed on an every other year basis. Ron Wise seconded. Motion carried.
- Ron Wise made a motion to accept the bid from State Farm, a Portland Agency, as the carrier of Wildflower II Insurance Policy for 2001/2002 at a savings of nearly $3,000 per year. Ruth Jenkins seconded. Motion carried.
- Ruth Jenkins made a motion the appoint Ron Wise to fill the position of Kim Bishop whose term expires in October of 2002. Ed Vignoul seconded. Motion carried.
After the Annual Meeting, the board met again briefly to welcome the new board member and assign board positions. These are as follows: President: Rod Englert, Treasurer: Ed Vignoul, Secretary: Ruth Jenkins. Additional Board members: Ron Wise and Doug Clark.
In subsequent newsletters I'll cover the two presentations given at the meeting, one on the capital reserve study, and other on the possibility of allowing hot tubs in Wildflower II.
