A recent mailing by a real estate agent stated that two Wildflower II units had sold recently. However I am aware of only one, Unit 35, which just closed recently. The title company has not yet informed me of the name of this new owner.
We have had a lot of snowfall this year and also a lot of periodic meltdown. (snow meltdown, not me!). It is the melting snow that causes leaks - both in roofs that have not yet been replaced and through the chimney rocks which are porous lava rock.
I have had reports of leaks in 8 units, 5 of which have new roofs. I have been busy getting these leaks under control. McMurray and Sons have been great in helping me get this taken care of.
Some of the roofs that are scheduled for replacement in summer of 2003 need to be moved to summer 2002 due to the leaks that are being experienced now. All owners must immediately report to me any leaks. This helps keep damage to the interior of the unit at a minimum.
Ed McCoy is doing a good job in keeping up with general repairs to the property and has excellent response time. If anyone has personal work that they may want Ed to do, you can contact him at 541.480.4318 for bids.
I would like to send hard copies of the newsletter to owners who do not have access to the web. However, periodic mailings are a noticeable expense to the Association, so if you have web access, please let me know that you do not require this service.
