Secretary's Comments

- by Ruth Jenkins

As you no doubt noticed, the newsletter is a bit late this month. It's simple. I live a long way from Sunriver. I'm only in Sunriver occasionally myself. In order to give you news of the Wildflowers I have to collect it from people who are there.

So here's my request: If you visit your Wildflower home, please feel free to drop me an e-mail and tell me what you see. If you have a digital camera, take a few pictures and send them along. I'll use your pictures to adorn our newsletters. Believe me, absentee owners (I among them) appreciate being able to see what the Association grounds look like when we aren't there.

Another thing I do from time to time when news is sparce is to send along to owners a few little "helpful hints" on using the internet. Here are three for this month:

The Sunriver Owners Association (SROA) maintains a very informative website. There is a link to their website at the bottom of our home page, but just to remind you, here it is again: www.sunriverowners.org .

Would you like a Sunriver weather forecast? go to www.weather.com. Enter the Sunriver zipcode (97707) for an update on conditions there.

Need a map or directions? Go to www.mapquest.com. For instance, using Mapquest we are able to quickly locate exactly where Deanna's new office is: here

Don't forget that the Board meets again at the end of April. If there is an item you would like to see on our agenda, please be sure to contact Deanna.
