Secretary's Comments
Ordinarily our Wildflower II newsletters are more informative that this one. I must apologize. My husband and I have been travelling almost continuously (for business, not pleasure) ever since the beginning of October, even before the fall Association Owners' Meeting.
I simply have not had time to spend on website design. As the end of the year approaches, I did what I could in a limited time to bring the website up to date.
The website now includes the financial information from the fall meeting and makes note of your new board members.
Fortunately Deanna documented in pictures the major recent occurrence that our Association has experienced. Please accept the pictorial essay on the right in place of the usual newsletter. I think the story almost tells itself.
The winter board meeting is scheduled for January 28th, 2006, in Sunriver. All owners are, of course, welcome to participate. While the agenda for that meeting is not yet set, we are likely to plan the upgrades to the common elements that we expect to undertake during the upcoming year.
The updated Capital Reserve Plan for 2006 lists the major items that we expect to fund this year.
It has been four years since we last treated our exterior siding; it is time to redo that treatment. We will begin this year with the oldest buildings, and finish the process next year.
We also plan to upgrade our landscaping in 2007. To prepare for this large expenditure, we will spend a small amount this year to inspect our irrigation system and plan needed repairs to it. We also hope to prepare a landscape design (what to plant and where) to present to the ownership for their approval. Your input into this process is always appreciated.
